Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before cutting them into squares or rolls.
