Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain yogurt recommended
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferable
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Fresh parsley Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the yogurt mixture.
Baking
  1. Place the chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, and the juices run clear.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (165°F/75°C).
