Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into squares or circles.
Assembly
- Place some roast beef and cheese on half of the biscuits. Top with the remaining biscuits and pinch the edges to seal.
Baking
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter, if desired. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
- In a small saucepan, heat the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic until warm. Serve the baked biscuits with the dipping broth and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve warm, complemented with a light salad or roasted veggies. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
