Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken thighs.
- Place the seasoned thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45–50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken thighs for the last 3–5 minutes of cooking.
Serving
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
To store leftover baked chicken thighs, let them cool completely. Place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days. You can also freeze them for longer storage, which will last about 3 months. Ensure they are properly wrapped to prevent freezer burn. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness and feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices.
