  • 1 cup sugar Brown sugar can be used for a deeper flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Additional spices like nutmeg or pumpkin spice can be added.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Stir in the cubed bread and diced apples until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Baking

Notes

This bread pudding stores well in the refrigerator for up to three days. It can also be frozen for up to a month. Use stale bread for better texture and feel free to add your preferred mix-ins such as raisins or nuts.
