Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bread cools, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread before slicing and serving.
