Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour You can substitute with whole wheat flour for a heartier loaf.
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast Active dry yeast can be used if activated first.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water Ensure it's not too hot to keep the yeast active.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Shape the risen dough into a round loaf and place it in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  4. Let it cool before slicing and enjoy!

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze in a freezer-safe bag. Reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes until warm and crisp.
